करड़ी मजलु या करडी मजलु   (Karadi Majalu) मुख्य रूप से भारत के कर्नाटक राज्य से सम्बद्ध लोक कला है।यह कर्णाटक की सबसे प्राचीन लोक कलाओं में से एक है। यह प्रायः पुरुषों द्वारा प्रस्तुत किया जाता है। इसमें पुरुषो का एक समूह जिसमे लगभग 9 सदस्य होते हैं, यंत्रों को समन्वित रूप से बजाते हैं और साथ ही थोड़ा बहुत नृत्य भी करते हैं। परन्तु करडी मजलु कोई नृत्य कला नहीं है बल्कि यह एक प्रकार का वाद्य वृन्द है जिसमे उत्साहपूर्ण संगीत बजाया जाता है। संगीत के साथ थोड़ा बहुत थिरकना स्वाभाविक है अतः कलाकारों द्वारा नृत्य के कुछ स्टेप्स वादन के साथ-साथ किये जाते हैं। कई बार समूह के सभी कलाकार एक साथ नृत्य के एक जैसे ही स्टेप्स दोहराते हैं जो की प्रस्तुतीकरण को आकर्षक बनाने के लिए होता है जिसे देखने वाले नृत्य समझते हैं इसलिए इस कला को करडी मजलु नृत्य (karadi majalu dance) की संज्ञा देते हैं जबकि यह मुख्य रूप से शुद्ध वाद्य संगीत आधारित लोक कला है।  करडी मजलु में एक व्यक्ति वाद्य के साथ गीत भी गाता है। ये गीत प्रायः भक्तिभाव वाले होते हैं जो कर्णाटक साहित्य वचनों में से लिए जाते हैं जिनकी रचना 12 वीं शताब

कुचिपुड़ी नृत्य  कुचिपुड़ी भक्तिधारा से निकली एक शास्त्रीय नृत्य शैली है। यह भारत के आंध्र प्रदेश से सम्बंधित मानी जाती है, हालांकि वर्तमान समय में समस्त भारतवर्ष और दुनिया के कई हिस्सों में इस शैली को जाना जाता है परन्तु इसका मूल दक्षिण भारत ही है। कुचिपुड़ी नृत्य की उत्पत्ति किस समय हुई इसके विषय में कोई ठोस प्रमाण उपलब्ध नहीं है परन्तु ऐसी मान्यता है कि, 18वीं शती में भक्तिवाद के प्रचार के साथ ये अस्तित्व में आया। उस समय जनसामान्य के   बीच प्रचलित संगीत में भजन, कीर्तन, हरिकथा, कालक्षेप इत्यादि की ही कड़ी में कुचिपुड़ी भी लोगों तक संगीत और आध्यात्म के मिले जुले माध्यम के रूप में पंहुचा होगा ऐसी मान्यता है।  कुचिपुड़ी नृत्य के विकास में श्री तीर्थ नारायण यति और उनके शिष्य सिद्धेन्द्र योगी का अत्यंत महत्तवपूर्ण योगदान है।तीर्थ नारायण बचपन से ही नृत्य-सगीत के शौक़ीन थे और वे भगवान् श्री कृष्ण के भक्त भी थे। उन्हें भगवान् श्री कृष्ण की लीलाओं का गान करना अच्छा लगता था। उन्होंने एक म्यूजिकल ओपेरा की रचना की जिसका नाम कृष्ण लीला तरंगिणी रखा। अपने कुछ शिष्यों को उन्होंने प्रशिक्षण दिया और मंदिर म

संक्षिप्त परिचय  कथक उत्तर भारत में प्रचलित शास्त्रीय नृत्य शैली है। कथक शब्द की उत्पत्ति कथा से हुई है। कथक की परंपरा प्राचीन है। महाभारत तथा नाट्य शास्त्र में भी कत्थक शब्द मिलता है। पाली शब्दकोष में कथको  शब्द का प्रयोग एक उपदेशक के लिए किया गया है। संगीत रत्नाकर के नृत्याध्याय में जो तेरहवी शताब्दी का ग्रन्थ है कथक शब्द का उल्लेख है। प्राचीन समय में कथावाचक मंदिरों में पौराणिक कथाएँ सुनाया करते थे। कथा के साथ कीर्तन भी होता था जिसपे नट लोग नृत्य प्रस्तुत किया करते थे। समय के साथ नट जाति के लोगों में कुछ बुराइयां आ जाने के कारण इनका समाज से बहिष्कार कर दिया गया। जीविकोपार्जन के लिए इन लोगों ने घूम घूम कर कथा कहना एवं नृत्य करना आरम्भ किया। इन्हें ही बाद में कत्थक या कथक के रूप में जाना गया। चुकि ये लोग नृत्य के सिद्धांतों से परिचित थे तथा भगवान् कृष्ण की लीलाओं से सम्बंधित प्रसंगों पर नृत्य प्रस्तुत किया करते थे अतः भक्त समुदाय से उन्हें यश एवं धन दोनों की प्राप्ति होती रही। कथक का इतिहास  कथक के इतिहास को समझने के लिए दशवीं एवं ग्यारहवीं शती के पहले का इतिहास देखना आवश्यक नहीं है क
